چکیده

A novel simple, environmentally friendly and portable method to determine vitamin E in edible oils based on reversed-phase dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction combined with electrochemical detection using screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs) has been developed. Vitamin was extracted from oil samples into a 4 M HCl aqueous solution determined by differential pulse voltammetry SPCEs. The extraction conditions optimized experimental design (i.e., Plackett–Burman central composite designs) were: extractant volume, 43 µL; time, 2 min; centrifugation 10 speed, 3000 rpm. proposed requires standard addition calibration approach, the working range showed good linearity 0 20 mg L−1, correlation coefficient ranging 0.990 0.995 (N=5). methodological limit of between 1 3 L−1. repeatability evaluated at 15 relative deviation ranged 15% (n=5). For quantification ten commercial olive, sesame, soybean, sunflower mixture corn oils, volume phase solution) increased up 100 µL satisfactory recoveries were obtained 85–115%, confirming applicability method.

Rapid determination of vitamin E in vegetable oils by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography.

A quick and direct method for measuring tocopherols (alpha, beta+gamma and delta) in vegetable oils has been developed using RP-HPLC with UV detection. Previous extraction of tocopherols is not required. The oil is diluted in hexane and an aliquot is mixed with ethanol containing an internal standard (alpha-tocopherol acetate). The chromatographic system consists of an ODS-2 column with a metha...

Spectrophotometric determination of total phenol in fish muscle after in- situ derivatization and reverse phase dispersive liquid- liquid microextraction

Abstract Reverse phase dispersive liquid- liquid microextraction (RP- DLLME) coupled with spectrophotometry is introduced for the detection of total phenol in the muscle tissue of fishes, such as Sphyraena genie, Otolithes ruber, Rastrelliger kangurta, Lutjanus johnii and Barbus Subquin Cunciatus. Phenols in fish tissues were extracted by ultrasonic bath and derivatization with 4- aminoant...

Reversed-phase dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction with multivariate optimization for sensitive HPLC determination of tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol in olive oil.

A reversed-phase dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (RP-DLLME) method coupled to HPLC was developed for the extraction of hydroxytyrosol (HTy) and tyrosol (Ty) from virgin olive oil. In this first application of the RP-DLLME method to non-polar samples, the phenolic compounds were directly extracted into an aqueous micro-drop, which could be injected into a chromatography column without a...

Spectrophotometric Determination of Formaldehyde in Seawater Samples after In-situ Derivatization and Dispersive Liquid-Liquid Microextraction

In this paper, a simple dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction for the extraction and pre-concentration of formaldehyde in seawater samples followed with spectrophotometric is proposed. Formaldehyde was derivatized in situ with acetyl acetone in the presence of ammonium acetate in a single step. Then it was collected into a mixture of ethanol (disperser solvent) and chloroform (extracting...

Determination of some B Vitamins in Sour Cherry Juice Using Dispersive Liquid-liquid Microextraction Followed by High-performance Liquid Chromatography

Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction method (DLLME) combined with high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UV) was used to determine thiamine (B1), nicotinamide (B3) and pyridoxine (B6) in sour cherry juice. This method was rapid, simple and sensitive. Separation was accomplished using a C18 column. The optimum chromatographic conditions were found to be: mobile ph...
